Van
Van was found behind a dumpster during our Halloween fundraiser party in the Town of Ponoka. His stomach was full of dirt and garbage, as shown on the X-rays, and required emergency veterinary care.
Fortunately, we had a access to a fantastic veterinary clinic the responded quickly. Thanks to their care, Van made a full recovery and is now happily settled into his new home.
Remi
Remy was discovered injured at the Bow n Arrow gas bar in Ermineskin, Maskwacis, and local animal services reached out to us for assistance.
His leg was severely damaged, and our vet recommended amputation. We are unsure how he was injured.
Despite his ordeal, Remy is incredibly friendly. We are so grateful that we can continue to provide a safe haven for animals in need.
George
George was a stray in the community of Sun Child O Chiese.
He came for daily cuddles at the teacher residence but one day he was laying at their front step ripped open by a pack of dogs.
We were asked for help and after a few vet visits, rounds of antibiotics and lots of TLC he made a full recover.
He is much loved at his new family.
