Edith & Evelyn

After six months in care . . . two of our favourite girls are still in care. πŸ’”

Edith and Evelyn came to us in May.  They were left behind at Blindman River just west of Rimbey.  We found their collars discarded in the ditch.  No one ever came forward to claim them.  πŸ˜”

We would love to seen them go together but unfortunately no one is able to.

We do not want these senior girls to finish their lives in a shelter so we have decided to allow them be adopted separately.

We believe this senior pair are mother and daughter. Edith (more grey face) is roughly 10 years old and Evelyn (less grey face) is 8 years old.

We were advised by our vet not to get them spayed so late in their lives as the surgery is a risk for these big girls.  They have had their vaccines, deworming and microchips.

But don’t be fooled by their looks!  These girls know age is just a number and they don’t let it hold them back.

Edith and Evelyn both enjoy tennis balls and their favourite game is fetch.  Their stamina is short but their love of the game is still there! 🎾❀️

Although these mastiffs are larger in size, they are gentle giants at heart!  They do great with kids but forget how large they are sometimes.

They need a cat free home and would do best as an only dog. πŸ•

A fenced yard would be ideal as they can be a little strong on walks but are improving more and more.

Edith and Evelyn deserve a second chance to be the perfect pets we know they are! πŸ’•
